Welcome to the official website of Gene Deer, Indy's favorite blues guitarist/singer/songwriter and a Slippery Noodle recording artist. For nine straight years voted the "Best Local Blues Band (1995-2003)" by readers of Nuvo, Gene has recorded two CDs on the Slippery Noodle Sound label: "Soul Tender" and "Livin' with the Blues". Both of these CDs are available at the shows, or online at the Slippery Noodle website or click on one of the images at the top of this page.

Now available on this site. Gene Deer, Live and Alone CD is a compilation of songs recorded live during the summer of 2001, and like the title says, it features Gene live and alone. You can purchase this CD at any Gene Deer show. It is also available at all Indianapolis and Anderson Karma stores, Florecs Music, Barry's Music, IRC Music, Musician's Repair, and Arthur's Music.
